Avon County RC has a strong team of volunteer ARA qualified coaches including two silver coaches, three bronze coaches, several RYA qualified power boat drivers, two ARA coach tutors and parents and teachers who have taken the Instructors Award (IA) following recent courses run by the Regional Coaching Commission. more

Training: what we get up to in order to make boats move faster

Rowing and sculling are physically very demanding sports and a very high level of fitness is required to complete at a high level. However, anyone is encouraged to participate in the sport, whatever their aspirations. more
