Wessex Invitation Regatta
Twentysix crews made the annual pilgrimage down to Bryanston School near Blandford Forum for the Wessex Invitation Regatta last Sunday. As usual, the sun shone and everyone had a great time racing over the nationally recognised distance of 270m!
We contested 18 events - and won 5 of them! This is despite the fact that of the 31 rowers who took part, 23 of them had never raced at a regatta before! Everyone raced well with lots of crews getting through rounds and into finals. Well done everyone!
Thanks to Ann for the use of her car to tow the trailer - and also for helping the organisers to run the event.
